We so seldom get to "talk shop" - let's get together for a drink/dinner as part of Canada Career Month! This is an opportunity to get together with fellow professionals, hosted by Jen Davies (Conestoga College, University of Toronto Scarborough). She will be there from 5pm-8pm (and later if people are staying), so if you can't come for dinner, you can come for a drink! Conversation will wander (like our career paths!), but may include resume pet peeves, helping clients to honour their values in their work, and the challenges of decoding the labour market. Please also note: This event is for students and working professionals in career development (career counsellors, career advisors, employment counsellors, employment advisors, career coaches, etc).

Dr Bright has developed a chaos and complexity-based theory that provides an account of the complexity of influences on career development, the nature of change and unplanned events, as well as the limiting factors and emerging patterns in individual careers. The CTC model is also being applied to leadership, creativity, and occupational stress, particularly through his Beyond Personal Mastery model.
