Challenge Your Talent Assumptions is a facilitated learning experience for employers and hiring managers, particularly SMEs with limited Human Resources and recruitment capacity, who are ready to tap into one of Canada’s most versatile talent pools.

Canada’s Veterans are a secret weapon for businesses of all sizes—especially in the wake of COVID-19 disruption and uncertainty, as crisis management, resilience, and adaptability become ever more important. It’s time employers challenge their assumptions about Veterans in the civilian workforce. It’s time employers leverage the versatile yet hidden talent that Veterans offer to Canadian business across sectors.

With the generous support of Veterans Affairs Canada’s Veteran and Family Well-Being Fund, Challenge Factory is thrilled to announce the launch of The Canadian Guide to Hiring Veterans, a new, easy-to-use toolkit to help employers find, hire, and retain Veterans.

Through an interactive online workshop, event participants will react, reflect, and respond to a series of questions designed to challenge assumptions about hidden talent. Attendees will have a chance to learn from each other, share current challenges, and consider how new tools and perspectives can lead to strong talent pipelines in 2021 and beyond. Come ready to be intrigued and surprised by what you have never noticed about Canada’s available labour pool.
